The Mentoring program is designed to increase confidence, self empowerment and focus on setting academic, life, and career goals. The Mentoring Program encourages emotional, spiritual, and social growth along with coordinating open lines of conscious dialog between the students and their mentors. It provides a basic structure for these relationships and a support system for the participants involved. The program will help the teens develop socially, because social skills will benefit them in other areas of their life.
We empower the group by focusing on goal setting, recognizing and dealing with emotions, relationships, and how to effectively deal with peer pressure, etc.
We promote positive health and fitness lifestyle choices by teaching the importance of exercise, nutrition, and wellness education. From balanced diets to weight-loss, girls & boys of all fitness backgrounds will be challenged and motivated to develop proper exercise routines and healthy nutritional habits.

The Vision of Believing In The NuYu
Believing In The NuYu came from a vision of wanting to help people live a better and healthier lifestyle. Eugene and daughter Rafaela, both love to help give back to the community and be a Mentor to the youth of our future.
Now that Eugene is retired 36 years from the U.S. Army, Eugene and Rafaela are now able to put there passion to use in a greater way.
They both feel working with teens would be a great opportunity and benefit for our future. When it comes to mentoring teens ages 13-18, it allows us to impact their lives in a major way. Around this age teens are trying to find them selves and where they feel they belong. When being a supporter for teens we teach them the importance of making right choices, thinking positive. for who they are and also being a big sister or brother they may not have.
-Believing In The NuYu believes doing this will prevent a lot of:
Teen Addictions, Early Teen Pregnancy, Sex Trafficking, Bullying, Run A Ways, Abuse and School Dropouts.
Not only are we building a greater Future for our teens, but a successful future, in becoming are next leaders.
